The Upson facility operates 24 hours, so there is no waiting for an office to open in the morning before a bond can be posted. If the bond amount is set, we can act on it whatever time you call.
Four things let us start on the first call instead of the second: the full name of the person in the Upson County jail, confirmation that Thomaston is where they were taken, their booking number, and what they were charged with. If you only have a name, call anyway. We can usually find the rest.
Once the charge is booked, bail is either set from the county's standing bond schedule or by a judge at a hearing.
