Jasper is a small facility. When the bond amount is already set and the paperwork is ready, release here is often quicker than in the metro counties. The limiting factor is usually how fast we get the information from you, not the jail.
Four things let us start on the first call instead of the second: the full name of the person in the Jasper County jail, confirmation that Monticello is where they were taken, their booking number, and what they were charged with. If you only have a name, call anyway. We can usually find the rest.
Once the charge is booked, bail is either set from the county's standing bond schedule or by a judge at a hearing.
